This series presents a selection of the best female jazz singers. Some of them are true stars whose names are celebrated and loved worldwide, while others, though still great, are lesser known because they didn’t have big hits, didn’t record a lot, or even died young. This set brings them back to light for your listening pleasure! All of the albums were made during the Golden Age of Jazz, mainly from the mid- 1950s to the early 1960s, right before the pop music boom, and are presented here in remastered versions on 180-gram vinyl limited editions. Supper Club

In the old but never out of fashion tradition of the 1950’s Supper Clubs, you’re cordially invited to sit at your table, enjoy a spirited drink, and relax. In this collection, a selection of the best female jazz singers is presented for your listening pleasure. Some of the vocalists are well known, while others are more obscure but equally brilliant. Sometimes they are fiery, and sometimes romantic. There’s no shrillness here, just the mellow sound of each singer backed by (mostly) small groups featuring amazing instrumental jazz soloists to put you in a thoughtful, intimate mood.
